Workshop Customer Rebuilds
Our facilities are geared up to providing the complete service for customers requiring a forklift rebuild.
South Woodham Ferrers has a fully equipped 12 bay workshop; our own welding bays; lathes, metal saws and presses in the machine shop, plus a hydraulic hose centre complete with heavy duty swaging machinery.
Our own in-house team of fork truck repair/maintenance engineers
Our workshop engineers, have the ability to provide a rebuild programme to your own forklift. One of our skilled engineers will carry out an extensive survey, then through consultation and agreement with the customer, carry out the necessary work to meet all relevant regulations.
The Equipment is then subjected to a 'Thorough Examination' by one of our CFTS accredited inspectors, and certificate of Thorough Examination issued. The forklift has a PDI before a warranty certificate is given and the forklift is delivered back to you on our own transporter.
In May 2008, FTD's Steve and Jimmy collected an award from Doosan's General Manager, Tim Waples, for Sales Excellence and Brand Promotion.
