Who Is SafePac?
SafePac is a family run business employing 95 people across Suffolk and Northamptonshire running a fleet of 50 modern vehicles. SafePac first opened it’s doors in 1966, over 58 years ago, specialising in providing removal services to the locally-based American military establishing a deep trust within the local community. Since 1966, the company has steadily grown and the two Flynn brothers have expanded the business to include domestic removals, storage, and European Haulage. SafePac operate mostly out of their HQ in Mildenhall, Suffolk named SafePac House where a team of experienced and professional staff work day-in and day-out supporting the local communities across Suffolk and Northamptonshire with their services. The business is a proud member of the British Association of Removers and continues to provide removal services across Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Sudbury, Glemsford, Haverhill and more!
Assessing SafePac’s Needs
When arriving on-site, our sales manager for Suffolk, Jimmy Pascavage, discussed with SafePac their existing material handling equipment and counterbalance forklift trucks. At the time, SafePac were operating several lead-acid electric counterbalance forklift trucks from one of our larger competitors. Jimmy worked with the excellent Flynn brothers from budget restrictions and finance options, to site requirements and vehicle application, to pick the perfect product that matched the needs of SafePac and it’s operations. After all this data gathering, discussions, and back and forth quotations, it was settled that the forklift truck SafePac needed was the HELI lithium-ion 4-wheel counterbalance.
The Lithium HELI Counterbalance Forklift Truck
For SafePac, the HELI 2.5 Ton Li-Ion CPD25 G2 LI-M was selected as the vehicle of choice for it’s fantastic benefits over lead-acid competitor forklift trucks. With a 4.7 meter and 3 Stage Mast, 1800mm fork length, and a closed height of 2160mm, this forklift truck was tailored to ensure that the vehicle would fit through any tight door ways and aisles within SafePac house whilst simultaneously maintaining efficiency of operations by being able to get deep into a load and lift it high enough for storage. These 3 HELI lithium forklifts also came with a 404 A/h li-ion CATL battery. The CATL battery is a safe and reliable choice for lithium technology, being proven both in R&D facilities and out in the field to provide protection against water, crushing, fire, and much more. The 404 A/h is the largest lithium-ion battery available for the HELI counterbalance forklift truck providing SafePac with the same run-time as it’s lead-acid competitors whilst being completely maintenance free and comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty included. These 3 HELI machines will become an integral component to SafePac’s steady growth and operations over the coming years and we are extremely grateful to provide the equipment and the service to such a staple business of Mildenhall, Suffolk.
